Being the fourth-biggest oil importing country and the seventh-biggest oil consuming country in the world, Korea is strategically located closely to other major oil and gas consuming countries like China and Japan. Also, its possession of the uppermost plant, marine and ship-building technology makes Korea more unique and favourable place to host the ‘Asian Oil and Gas Show’ in the Asia-Pacific region.

With this circumstance, INDEX Conferences & Exhibitions Organisation Est. and Korea Petroleum Association successfully organized the 1st Asian Oil and Gas Show, receiving over 7,000 of leading oil and gas industry professionals from 32 countries, with most of those being experts from the oil and gas industry sector. It represented the increasing interests and needs for oil and gas industry in Asian market and networking opportunity to meet with industry fellows.
